Natural Dental Crowns in San Ramon

For A Beautiful New Smile

Natural-Looking Dental Crowns

Here at Rock’N’Roll Dental, Dr. Harris will use natural-looking dental crowns to help repair chipped or broken teeth, as well as to replace any missing teeth during the dental implant process. As natural-looking dental crowns can be identical to the color of the other teeth in your mouth, they are an aesthetically pleasing option.

If you have a broken or decayed tooth that can’t be fixed with a filling, inlay, or other dental restoration procedure, a dental crown may be the best option to restore the tooth back to it’s normal state. A crown is designed to cover the damaged part of the tooth and will restore it back to it’s original size, shape and overall structure.

Natural Crowns

You Might Need A Crown If:

• The tooth has been filled so much that there is more filling than actual tooth structure

• The tooth has had extensive decay and/or damage

• The tooth has been broken

• The tooth has a root canal performed on it

• Adjacent teeth need crowns to support a bridge

• A dental implant has been put in and requires a crown to finish it off

There Are Two Types of Natural Crowns We Provide Here

Full Zirconia
Our Zirconia dental crowns are the strongest and made from a single block of ceramic material (zirconium dioxide).  These crowns are metal-free which makes them more biocompatible and reduces the risk of the surrounding tissue becoming irritated or rejection of the crown altoghether.  They are ideal for the back teeth in the event that bruxism (teeth grinding) is an issue.

Emax
Our Emax dental crowns are milled from a single block of lithium disilicate which is a durable and translucent glass ceramic.  As with the Full Zirconia crowns, they are srtrong and metal-free and because of their natural  translucency,  are highly esthetic and ideal for the teeth in the "smile zone."

If you have damaged teeth and are looking to improve your smile and chewing ability, we can help.  Give us a call today to schedule a consultataion (925) 557-7022.
