Home Care
Proper homecare is essential to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. It is also important to practice ideal oral hygiene so that dental restorations such as fillings, crowns, and veneers will last.
I recommend using a Sonicare electric toothbrush twice a day for two minutes per session, flossing once per day before bedtime with your floss of choice, and implementing the use of a cordless Water Pik if you have bleeding gums or gum pockets. If you enjoy rinsing with a mouthrinse, I recommend using one without alcohol.
Regular dental check ups every six months will catch early gum disease and will detect any tooth problems before they worsen.
